When Stephanie was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in October of 2019, cooking and baking got much harder at home. After trying the gluten-free diet for herself for a few weeks, Hailie decided that her mom and others like her need a safe place to enjoy wholesome, delicious gluten-free food. After baking GF cakes for family get togethers, Hailie also realized how relaxing baking is, and suggested starting a Dedicated Gluten Free bakery. Soon Mom (Stephanie), Dad (Jim) and Grandma (Shirley), with overwhelming support from family and friends (including Bobbi, The Goddess Supreme), started to make the dream a reality.

Since Hailie was only 16 at the time of inception, Mom and Dad (Stephanie and Jim) officially own Hailie's Oven. Hailie has since decided NOT to be a full-time baker (Does anybody REALLY want to know what they want to be by age 16?) Thankfully her older sister Dakota moved home from Oregon and is working towards owning & running the bakery herself and is keeping the delicious gluten-free goodness flowing!
